Objectives of the Forum:

The aimed focus of the Air-TN forum was to address safety issues at European level with the objective of bringing together academia and stakeholders in aviation safety to create prosperous networks imitating in the future innovative research programmes to further aviation safety goals.

The following items were treated:

- European Aviation Safety Strategy
- EARPG's Priority Thematic Areas for Research
- European Strategic Safety Initiative (ESSI)
- SES and SESAR
- Industrial and Research Centres' achieved results and priorities for the future
- National priorities and R&TD for aviation safety
- Vision beyond 2020
